For the past two weeks we have been learning algebra at home. Our teacher assigned us assignments on Khan Academy for the next two weeks. In those weeks we had to take notes on subject such as the history of algebra, introduction to variables, and linear equations on both sides and etc. We are required to take notes on videos and articles that we did so I ended up writing about 16 pages full of notes.During these whole two week we have been working on algebra 1 equations such as 1/7-3(3/7n-2/7) and z+(z+6). When I was working on unit one I learned the real name of algebra and it was really long. The name was Al-kitab al-mukhtasar fi hisab al-aabr wa'l-muqasala. Anyway, In unit one I was able to do all I did (for the first part) was combine like terms and simplify the equations. So I was able to complete it without a challenge.
When I went onto unit two, that was a whole different story. We did equations that had more than one variable. The equations were like 5x-3<12 and 4x+1>25, 12y+d=-19y+t. Those were the difficult ones. The easy ones were 7(y-8)=7y+42. When I took the test I kept getting a bad score. So then I went back and I saw what I did wrong so I corrected it and I took the test again and I got a 100%. So I went to take the unit test and I got 100% on that too. With all of this knowledge in my head I think I am able to go on to unit 3.

In Art class we started on a unit that worked on perspective drawing and we needed to make a video showcasing what we did in the class.
